Color: Green for the heart chakra—because understanding and compassion come from the heart.

Prayer:

Holy ones, we ask your guidance in coming to the heart of compassion.
Help us to be with the suffering of each being.
Help us to imagine the pain of poverty, oppression, illness, hatred and fear.
Help us to understand courage in the face of despair, nobility in the face of adversity
