GHR 2015 Q2 Restoration/ Renewal

SunriseAs always, it is hard to believe we are already in the second quarter of the year. While we spent the first quarter reflecting, this quarter we will move on to thinking about how we can renew the world with our thoughts, our actions and our hopes. And…to remember that renewal is possible in every present moment.

World Labyrinth Day is May 2nd. I hope that you will consider using these materials for your walk that day!

2015 Theme: Restoration

“All the beauty that’s been lost before wants to find us again” ― U2

April-May-June

 Focus: Renewal

Quote:  As wave is driven by wave
And each, pursued, pursues the wave ahead,
So time flies on and follows, flies, and follows,
Always, for ever and new. What was before
Is left behind; what never was is now;
And every passing moment is renewed.  ― OvidMetamorphoses

Color:  Green

Prayer:

As the earth breaks forth into new birth and life,
As the dawn brings burst of new light
again and yet again,
So may the energy of possibility burst forth in renewal,
Healing the hurt and pain of past.
May our voice, step, act join with others to sing again
The morning song, to embody the dance of renewal,
to reclaim the vision.
May the promise of restoration be real. —The Rev. Kay Mutert
