Dear Facilitators,
Let’s talk about JOY, happiness, smiles, laughter. Let’s do our friends, family and world a favor by bringing gratitude, fun (maybe even a joke?) to the table of healing! As our quote says, “Laughter is a sunbeam of the soul.” We can’t get much brighter than the sun. Let’s take a break from despair and lighten the load for each other. Might be the perfect way to end the year.
Thank you to The Rev. Warren Lynn for writing our two part meditation this quarter. Personally, I am printing the meditations on two sides of a card. The first part to be read when walking into the labyrinth (lighten your load, brighten up your own shadows) and the walk out can be used to send compassionate intentional energy out into the world for others.
I have been researching intention energy from the viewpoints of quantum physics to chakras. I believe compassionate intention amplified by a group can change the world. I have created a model for holding a Global Healing Workshop with the labyrinth that can be used for community or universal healing. Let me know if you are interested in knowing more. Hopefully I will see some of you at the Labyrinth Society meeting this weekend where I will be presenting this model and implementing it. Exciting stuff!!
Peace, Love and Joy,
Ellen

Prayer/Meditation:
Walking into the labyrinth….
Walk into Lightness
The peace of All Peace be mine on this path.
Let all tumult of life’s storms within me cease.
May the weight of heavy burdens release;
The diminishing shackles upon me drop free from my soul
May True Light illuminate the habitations of my dark shadows, setting me free from all forms of suffering.
Walking out of the labyrinth…
Send Forth Healing
Envisioning what Light, Peace and Love is needed in the world beyond me,
I send empowering energy outward, beyond myself,
Into the shadows, storms and suffering all around.
By my actions, relationships and ways of being
I will participate in the greater community of healing in this world.
