GHR 2026 Q3: Grounding/Resilience

I hope you are enjoying 2026 theme for the Global Healing Response— GROUNDING. It will be a year of returning to what steadies us—body, breath, Earth and one another.

As we enter the second half of the year, Global Healing Response turns its attention to the theme of Resilience, the intentional capacity to stay grounded, endure, adapt, and grow amid personal and collective crises. How might we strengthen our capacity to stay resilient in these challenging times?

All of the 2026 materials can be found in a PDF format by clicking here.

I have changed things up a bit in the materials and am using some different prompts. We will still hold a quote, but I have added an intention, guiding question, meditation and thoughts to hold during a labyrinth walk. I hope this resonates with you and your groups that gather. If you use a different healing modality, feel free to adapt the labyrinth prompts to what works for you.

Our first focus for July, August and September will be RESILIENCE.

Clive Johnson and I talked about Resilience in an episode of our IMPACT! Podcast. Take a listen here.

In the fourth quarter of the year, we will focus on Coherence. One of my favorite topics!

With gratitude for all you do to make the world better,
Ellen

2025 Theme: Grounding

A year of returning to what steadies us —
body, breath, Earth, and one another.

July-August-September

Focus: Resilience

Quote: “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.”
— Desmond Tutu

Intention: We build resilience by meeting challenges with steadiness, care, and the willingness to rest as needed.

Guiding Question: How do we continue with care?

Meditation
Place a hand on your heart or belly.
Feel your breath moving—small, steady, alive.
Recall a time you made it through something hard.
Not to relive it—only to remember it: I endured.
Inhale: receive strength. Exhale: release effort.
Let resilience feel like support, not strain.

Labyrinth Walk: Arriving

Optional Phrase: Staying with What Is
Intention: To cultivate steady care in the midst of difficulty.

Entry: As you begin, bring to mind something challenging you are carrying—lightly, without needing to resolve it.

Center: At the center, place a hand on your heart or belly.
Breathe. Notice that you are still here.

Return: As you walk out, imagine each step offering support rather than demand.

Optional Phrase: I can continue with care.
