GHR 2026 Q2: Grounding/Anchoring

I hope your are enjoying the 2026 theme for the Global Healing Response— GROUNDING. It will be a year of returning to what steadies us—body, breath, Earth and one another.

The entire 2026 materials can be found in a PDF format by clicking here.

I have changed things up a bit in the materials and am using some different prompts. We will still hold a quote, but I have added an intention, guiding question, meditation and thoughts to hold during a labyrinth walk. I hope this resonates with you and your groups that gather. If you use a different healing modality, feel free to adapt the labyrinth prompts to what works for you.

Our first focus for April, May and June will be Anchoring.

I’m thrilled that Clive Johnson and I could talk about Anchoring in an episode of our IMPACT! Podcast. Take a listen here.

It feels like anchoring is a necessity in this crazy world. If we don’t anchor ourselves we will be swept away by drama, sensationalism and possibly fear. I hope we can reflect on the question, “What holds you when things feel uncertain?”

In the future quarters of the year, we will focus on Resilience and Coherence.

With gratitude for all you do to make the world better,
Ellen

2025 Theme: Grounding

A year of returning to what steadies us —
body, breath, Earth, and one another.

April-May-June

Focus: Anchoring

Quote: “All things are connected.” — Chief Seattle

Intention: We cultivate anchoring by remembering what holds us steady—Earth, relationship, values, and the quiet supports beneath our lives.

Guiding Question: What holds me when things feel uncertain?

Meditation
Bring attention to your feet or your seat.
Imagine roots or an anchor extending downward into the Earth—steady, quiet, dependable.
Inhale: feel support. Exhale: soften into it.
Notice one thing that steadies you: a place, a person, a practice, a value.
Let that support become tangible in your body.

Labyrinth Walk: Remembering What Holds Us

Intention: To reconnect with what steadies and supports us.

Entry: As you enter the labyrinth, consider what has supported you through change—people, land, values, or practices.

Center: At the center, imagine placing your weight fully onto the Earth beneath you.
Feel what holds you without effort.

Return: As you walk out, notice how it feels to be carried rather than pushing forward.

Optional Phrase: I am supported.

Earth Day is April 22, 2026 •World Labyrinth Day is May 2, 2026 •
Summer Solstice is June 21, 2026
