GHR 2023 Q4: Journey/Reflect

When I first planned the quarter foci for this year, this quarter was called “return”. But I realized, after looking more into the concept of journey, that we don’t always return. Sometimes the journey brings us to a different place or maybe even a different self. So perhaps just stopping and thinking about our journey this year is wise. Breath, ponder and let it sink in. As David Mitchell has said, “There ain’t no journey what don’t change you some.”

And where did your journey lead you? Away? Toward? Return? Did it pick you up and place you somewhere new or did you get there with baby steps? Was it full of Grace and synchronicities or did you get bashed upside the head in order to make a turn?

Wherever your journey took you this year, I hope you will remember, “The end of a journey means the start of another one.” – The Book of Felicity

Blessings on your path,

Ellen

Prayer/Meditation:

How was this journey on a path of turns and stops and starts?

Did you fill your soul with adventure or release pain from your heart?

Did you move on a path forward or did you wander with your thoughts?

Were you welcomed upon your arrival, or did you lay claim to a new spot?

Did you smell the roses along the way or push to the finish line?

Did you return to where you started or end up at a different time?

Your journey was perfect no matter what path it took.

Stop and turn around, reflect, and take a look.
